Food, feed and livestock cross borders only when they meet the rules on both sides. We build those rules into every contract: the specification to test against, the certificates to issue and the records to keep.
Traceable from supplier to buyer
Under the European Union’s General Food Law, every business in the food chain must be able to trace products one step back and one step forward. We keep lot numbers, suppliers’ certificates, analysis reports and shipping records for every consignment. If a question arises about a delivery, it can be traced to its source quickly and answered with documents.
Certificate of analysis
Issued per lot against the contract specification: free fatty acids and peroxide value for oils, moisture and admixture for grains and seeds, grading for nuts.
Contaminant testing
Mycotoxins, pesticide residues and microbiological tests such as Salmonella, measured by accredited laboratories against EU maximum levels.
Plant and animal health
Phytosanitary certificates for fresh produce, grains and seeds. Veterinary health certificates through TRACES for every animal exported.
Responsible sourcing
RSPO-certified palm oil on request, deforestation due diligence for EU imports, and animal transport under Regulation (EC) No 1/2005.
Graded to UNECE standards
Potatoes, onions and garlic are graded to UNECE marketing standards for size, shape, skin quality and defects, then shipped in ventilated reefer containers at the temperature each crop needs. Pre-shipment inspection records and temperature logs are available for every container.
