FAQ

Answers before you ask

The questions importers, processors and farms ask us most often about ordering, payment, shipping and quality.

01

Orders & quotations

What is the minimum order quantity?

Usually one full container load for commodities and one truck or consignment for livestock. Each product page states its own minimum order.

How long is an offer valid?

For the period stated in the offer. If no period is stated, an offer is valid for three working days, because commodity prices and freight rates move.

Can I order several products together?

Yes. Add them to your quote list and send one combined request; we quote them together.

02

Payment & contracts

Which payment terms do you accept?

Documentary letter of credit, documentary collection, or bank transfer against shipping documents. The agreed method is written in the contract.

Do you sign a contract for every order?

Yes. A contract is formed only by a written order confirmation or a sales contract signed by both parties.

Which currencies do you quote in?

Euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD), as stated in the offer.

03

Shipping & quality

Which Incoterms do you offer?

FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP under Incoterms® 2020.

Which documents come with a shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or CMR, certificate of origin, phytosanitary or veterinary certificate and certificate of analysis — plus anything your import authority requires.

Can you arrange independent inspection?

Yes: SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or a surveyor of your choice, at loading.
